Proposal

To develop 57 residential apartments on lands at Fenaghy Road, Ballymena.The proposed site extends to approximately 3.45 acres, located between the River Maine and the western side of Fenaghy Road. It is situated around 270 metres south of the Fenaghy Road/Corbally Road junction and benefits from flat topography and mature boundary landscaping, offering a well-contained and visually sheltered setting.

The proposal site is in the settlement of Ballymena and is unzoned. The application when submitted will be fully resourced providing technical reports dealing with traffic, drainage and flooding, ecology etc to demonstrate how the proposal complies with Mid and East Antrim’s Plan Strategy. Importantly the scheme will provide a minimum of 20% social and affordable units and all units will be designed to be adaptable accommodation, in accordance with the Council’s policy.

Our proposal aims to deliver high-quality residential accommodation with associated car parking, responding sensitively to the site’s context. The design has been shaped by both the opportunities and constraints of the location to ensure a scheme that integrates well with its surroundings.
